Wheat Porridge

Cleaned, cracked whole wheat (gandum ka dalia). Cook it with milk and sugar for a sweet breakfast, or with vegetables and spices for a savoury namkeen dalia.

How to use it

• Meetha dalia with milk, sugar and a little cardamom.
• Namkeen dalia with onion, vegetables and a tarka.
• A light meal for children and the elderly.

Storage

Keep in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
